Get your N8 hacked right now!!!!!! 1st HACKED N8 CFW RELEASE IN THE WORLD

Get your N8 hacked right now! 1st HACKED N8 CFW RELEASE IN THE WORLD (newbie-proof step-by-step guide included)
thanks to faenil

Quote:
Here we go guys, I have modified a UDA image (credits go to Il.Socio for providing the tools and CODeRUS for providing the hacked installserver)

to let you all have your N8 hacked right now and be able to install unsigned apps!

IF YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW TO FLASH A NOKIA DEVICE, READ HERE:

It is enough to DOWNLOAD THE HACKED UDA, rename it to the name of the UDA image of the firmware of your product code, and flash it using Phoenix!

IF YOU HAVE NEVER FLASHED A NOKIA DEVICE, THEN READ HERE:

1) Download and install Phoenix 2010 cracked (can’t tell you where to download it from, look for it)

2) Download navifirm 0.4, and the HACKED UDA

3) Open Navifirm, and wait for it to load the Products list, then hit N8 (RM596)

4) Select 11.12 and wait for navifirm to load the Variants list

5) Use the search variants box at the bottom to look for the product code of your phone (you can find the product code on the transparent sticker which was on the back of your N8 when you bought it, mine is 0599857******, 0599857 is the product code) then hit MARK ALL, and then DOWNLOAD WITH THE PROGRAM, and choose the directory where you want to download the OFFICIAL firmware files

6) Once you have downloaded the official firmware files, copy those files to “C:/Program Files(x86)/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-596″ which is the directory where Phoenix will look to get the files it needs to flash the firmware to your N8

7) Connect your N8 via USB cable and open PHOENIX

8) Hit File–>Scan Product, and then hit Flashing–>Firmware Update

9) In the firmware update screen, you’ll see that Phoenix have found the firmware files of the official firmware you downloaded from navifirm (if it doesn’t find any firmware, add the directory C:/Program Files(x86)/Nokia/Phoenix in all the three boxes in Tools–>Options–>Product Location, and repeat step 8 ) , now hit REFURBISH

10) Now a warning dialog box will appear, telling you that one file is missing. THIS STEP IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. Do not click anything on the warning box, just minimize Phoenix screen, go to the folder where you downloaded the hacked UDA file (decompress the .7z file using peazip or 7zip first), and copy it to C:/Program Files(x86)/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-596 .

11) If it asks you to overwrite say yes, then go back to Phoenix and hit yes on the warning dialog box. If it doesn’t ask you to overwrite the file, rename the OFFICIAL UDA FILE to something else (for example, if the name of the official UDA file is RM-596_011.012_U01.01_79.92_prd.uda.fpsx, rename it to RM-596_011.012_U01.01_79.92_prd_ORIGINAL.uda.fpsx) and rename the HACKED UDA to the former name of the OFFICIAL UDA FILE (the name of the hacked uda is RM-596_011.012_U03.01_79.92_prd.uda.fpsx, in this case you have to rename it to RM-596_011.012_U01.01_79.92_prd.uda.fpsx, which is the name of the UDA you download from navifirm)

12) Now go back to the Phoenix’s warning dialog box, and hit YES, and wait for the flashing process to complete

13) Done Now you can install unsigned apps

ENJOY

Smartphoneware Best ScreenLocker 2.01 S60v5/S^3 incl Keygen-HSpda

This application enhances the screen lock mode with such features as displaying a clock and actual information on messages and missed calls, as well as playing a sound while the screen locking status changes.

If the screen is locked, pressing any key will bring up the Lock Screen. Another press of any key will hide it.

The Lock Screen of the application allows to quickly see the time or check if there are any new messages or missed calls.

If you add the device Lock/Unlock key into the list of "Full unlock keys", the following behaviour will take place: when the Unlock key is pressed, the lock mode is turned off; when any other key is pressed, the Lock Screen is displayed showing current time and other information.

Main features:

· The Lock Screen displaying the current time, the number of missed calls and unread messages;
· Ability to customize the background color and the image for the Lock Screen;

Five Unique Features of the Nokia N8

Five Unique Features of the Nokia N8

nokia n8

The Camera

nokia n8

This is obvious and surely the trump card that'll make people want to own this phone. Its not like we've not had 12 megapixel sensors before, but they were part of an otherwise rotten phone. And its not just about the numbers this time - Nokia's claim to better photography with the N8 starts with a larger-than-usual sensor, which is quite visible as that protruding part at the back of the phone. Then comes the use of ND filter to handle bright lighting conditions better. For dark conditions, there's a proper Xenon flash - the same blinding strobe of light you get with regular digital cameras. This is a much welcome move, since some phones are really dumb to not even have a simple LED based solution.Even if you don't really care about the specs on paper, just have a look at the (hopefully) untouched sample shots that Nokia has released - and you'll know what I'm talking about. From what we've seen till date, this phone-camera could probably be the one that puts regular digicams in a state of panic.

USB on-the-go (or USB Host) supportnokia n8

This is a brilliant feature that makes this smartphone do file transferring tasks without the need of a computer. The N8 comes packaged with a cable that has a USB port on the other side. So you can pretty much connect any mass storage device to it - pen drives, hard drives, card readers or even other cell-phones! Imagine a situation where you're clicking away and your memory card gets filled up. Connecting the phone to a flash drive directly and copying all the data directly is just brilliant!

FM Transmitter

nokia n8
This has been one underdog feature in many Nokia N series phones that goes unnoticed. Most phones today can act as FM receivers to tune into your favorite radio station. But what the N8 does is something much cooler. A small chip in the phone lets you transmit audio at a preset FM frequency. So, I could set it to say, 90 MHz and start playing the music in my phone. Now any FM receiver (your car audio deck, your music system) just needs to be tuned to the same frequency. And voila, you've got wireless playback of music in your phone. No 3.5mm cables, no data cables needed! The best part is the compliance with virtually every music system on the planet (that have FM receiving ability, and I'm sure most do).

5-band Network support

nokia n8

The GSM Network operates at many frequencies around the world. With respect to 2G, most of Europe and Asia operates at either 900 MHz (e.g. in India that'd be Vodafone, Loop Mobile) or 1800 MHz (Airtel). Then countries like the US run 2G services on the 850 MHz and 1900 MHz spectrum. Now, most phones these days support the four 2G bands (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). But 3G runs on a different spectrum (which by the way, is one of the reasons why Indian private telcos haven't launched 3G yet) - 2100 MHz in most of the continents. Again, the Americans have two different bands for 3G - 1700 MHz and 1900 MHz as well.

If you've ever seen that some phones are released for the American continent differently, that's because phone makers put different frequency support

for their phones depending on the country of sale. Nokia's N8 is breaking some of those barriers by putting 5-band support (850/900/1700/1800/1900 MHz). So, the end result is that the N8 is more a "World Phone" than most phones out there today. For people travelling to the States, this will come in handy.

Turn-by-turn Navigation and Push e-mail free

Before you start shouting "Google Maps rules!", I'm with you on this one as well. But there might be a bright side in getting Nokia's rendition of maps at no extra cost. Nokia took over navigation software company NAVTEQ a while back, and has been bundling their Ovi Maps app with many phones for free. Ovi Maps offers turn-by-turn navigation in more than 70 countries, something that isn't available for Google Maps in all countries as yet. Also, you can pre-load maps on your phone, while Google Maps needs mobile internet to load maps on the go. This could be quite a bonus while travelling abroad, where you don't want to incur heavy roaming data charges.

Similarly, you could argue that all Android phones come with free Push e-mail by default. Yes, but that works only for their Gmail service. While Nokia's e-mail service allows pushing of e-mails to your phone for any POP/IMAP account (like, your office e-mail) for free. That's a big Pro - especially when Blackberry charges you a monthly fee for it.

Two other things that we felt should be mentioned:

a) Secondary Video-call camera: It is surprising to see some of the premium-grade smartphones not have a camera at the front for video-calling. However irrelevant it may be to people, when I'm paying Rs. 30,000 for a phone, I expect it to be there for that one time when I feel like video-conferencing. Fortunately, the Nokia N8 has not slipped on this front.

b) HDMI with Dolby Digital Plus: A few phones are able to playback 720p video out via HDMI these days, but the N8 supports Dolby Digital Plus - so you get true 5.1 channel output. You'd like this if you have a 5.1 Home Theater system set at your pad.

So, there you have it. Are these features good enough for you to consider the N8 as your next smartphone purchase? Or do you still feel it's not worth it?

Tips: Nokia N8 Teardown (Part 3)

Nokia N8 Teardown

PART 13

nokia n8

nokia n8

After removing the screws and popping off the antenna, the mid-plane can be removed from the N8.

The design of the steel mid-plane is pretty genius. Nokia integrated a large EMI shield into the mid-plane to protect the main chips. In addition, thermal pads were placed on the inner face of the mid-plane to conduct heat away from the main chips.

As processor speeds increase and devices become more integrated, the need for thermal management becomes critical to ensure longevity and operability in many environments.

PART 14

nokia n8

nokia n8

After the mid-plane is removed, the motherboard can be simply lifted out of the rear case.

The daughter board at the top of the motherboard has an interesting design in that it is connected to the main motherboard via a ribbon cable that is sandwiched between the many layers of the motherboard.

On most devices, ribbon cables are attached with ZIF connectors or are soldered to the surface of the board, not sandwiched between layers.

PART 15

nokia n8
nokia n8

HERE IS THE Nokia N8 motherboard:

*

Toshiba THGBM1G7D4FBA13 K23538 (16 GB Internal Memory)
*

Samsung K5W4G2GACA - AL54 (CPU + DDR RAM + NAND ROM)
*

Broadcom BCM2727 GPU with dedicated 3D Graphics
*

4380044 9920Q VJ (RF Transceiver)
*

EPCOS D1053 (RF Front end module)
*

RENESAS 09801A (RF Power amplifier)
*

4376057 GAZ0035G (Baseband)

PART 16

nokia n8
nokia n8

With the motherboard out of the rear case, the flash unit simply lifts out.

As opposed to many other smartphones that use either a single or double LED for the flash, the N8 uses a Xenon flash tube similar to the kind of flash found in full-size cameras.

The large capacitor on the flash module supplies the high voltage necessary to produce such a brilliant flash.

PART 17

nokia n8

The loudspeaker can be pried off the adhesive securing it to the rear case at this point.

This loudspeaker is primarily used for speaker phone as well as for playing audio from media stored on the phone.

PART 18

#

Nokia N8 Repairability: 8 out of 10 (10 is easiest to repair)
#

The battery, although considered by Nokia not to be user-serviceable, can be easily removed.
#

The AMOLED display easily comes apart from the glass, which means that you can replace the glass and the display independently.
#

There are mostly mechanical fasteners, and very little glue inside.
#

You still have to use a heat gun to remove the front glass, but at least you're heating up metal that won't deform as easily as plastic.
#

You can't remove either of the cameras from the phone.

Tips: Nokia N8 Teardown (Part 2)

PART 7

Nokia N8 Teardown

The BL-4D 3.7 V, 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery is considered non-removable. Sure Nokia, sure...

The hologram stuck under the battery's pull tab is most likely there to ensure you're getting an actual Nokia-approved battery and not some low quality clone.

After popping off the protective cover, a T5 Torx screw near the mini HDMI port can be removed.

The top of the phone comes off next, exposing more Torx screws for us to remove.

PART 9

Nokia N8 Teardown

The front part of the phone opens up like a clam.

The digitizer and display cables still attach the front panel to the rest of the phone, so be sure to lift the display assembly from its top edge if you decide to open your unit

.

PART 10

Nokia N8 Teardown

Thankfully the glass is not fused to the face of the AMOLED display, so you don't have to replace both if just the glass breaks.

The silk screen on the back of the display reads:

AMS347FF01-0

The silk screen also indicates the display was manufactured February 2, 2010. This thing has been around for quite some time.

The touch screen controller is a Synaptics T1201A. This is the same chip found in the Microsoft Kin Two and RIM Blackberry Torch.

PART 11

Nokia N8 Teardown

Here's a comparison of the N8's display with an LCD from the 4th generation iPod Touch. You can differentiate between LCD and AMOLED screens by noticing the slightly blue tint the AMOLED display gives off when a light is shone against it.

PART 12

Nokia N8 Teardown

Nokia N8 Teardown

A couple T6 Torx screws and the upper antenna hold the mid-plane to the inside of the N8.

Six pads akin to steel wool help ground the back of the AMOLED display to the mid-plane.

Nokia got pretty creative with their antenna placement, as this device is primarily encased in aluminum. The main antennas are located near the flat plastic plates on the top and bottom of the phone, as seen in the second and third pictures.

Tips: Nokia N8 Teardown (Part 1)

Nokia N8 Teardown

The Symbian^3 powered N8 is regarded as Nokia's direct competitor to the iPhone 4, as well as all the Android smartphones on the market. Betting the farm on the success of the N8, Nokia has packed this phone full of awesome features

NOTE:Teardowns provide a look inside a device and should not be used as disassembly instructions.

NOTE :WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TYPE OF DAMAGE OF YOUR MOBILE

*************************
Step 1

Nokia N8 Teardown

Technical specs:

  • ARM11 680 MHz processor
  • 640 × 360 (nHD), 3.5" capacitive, multi-touch display with AMOLED technology
  • 256 MB SDRAM
  • 512 MB internal NAND memory and 16 GB on-board memory
  • 12 Megapixels (main) with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash, 16:9 720p video, 25 FPS

STEP 2

Nokia N8 Teardown

The 12 MP auto-focus camera is a honker. As we've seen in other smartphones, the thickness of the camera drives the thickness of the phone.

According to Dr. Hubert Nasse, the lens inside the camera module is composed of five individual aspherical shaped optical elements. This complex shape facilitates very high quality pictures out of a very small device.

Nokia chose to have the camera protrude outside of the back cover, which could either provide a good grasping point when taking the phone out of your pocket, or make it a hassle when returning the phone to your pocket.

STEP 3

Nokia N8 Teardown

Aside from a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, the N8 features both a mini HDMI and a mini USB port. Not sure what to do with that HDMI port? Try setting a world record.

Buttons include: Power, Home, Hold, Camera, and Volume Switch.
The SIM and MicroSD ports are mounted side by side on the exterior of the phone, allowing for hot-swapping of the MicroSD.

PART 4

Nokia N8 Teardown

Utilizing the front facing camera, apps such as Fring or Skype enable users to video chat anywhere they like with mobile-to-mobile as well as mobile-to-desktop connections.

PART 5

Nokia N8 Teardown

Hey look at that -- visible T4 Torx screws! We figured this was a good place to start to take it apart.

A trifle later the bottom portion of the phone was off. If we only had one of these...

PART 6

Nokia N8 Teardown

After the bottom cover of the phone is removed, a small battery retaining bracket can be popped out of its socket.

After that, the hologram-equipped battery can be slid out of its cozy home.

Although it requires the removal of two odd-sized screws, the battery really isn't that hard to replace. Thumbs up for no soldering!
