It used to be the coolest thing in the world, cause it would follow oyu around and it looked hilarious. but it got broken in like 1.5 patch, and blizzard wont fix it. ive asked them twice, and there like we have better things to work on :(

What ive found it to be REALLY usefull for is if oyu pull a huge group of guys on accident IE the unstoppable scarlet patrol in EPL, if you
drop this itll take all the agro and is pretty much invincable (as far as ive seen) till it collapses,giving some escape time.

I also used to use it for aoe farming on my hunter... Id eyes of the beast and agro all the ghosts in SM graveyard(although they are nerfed now they dont drop near as good money)... then id have them go after the cannon, which held agro plenty well for me to volley them, then when it died they all came after me into an exsplosive trap, and that would usaly kill them all.
