Follow Frank, Crabby and Fuzzball for a fun and exciting journey in a brand new match 3 adventure. Starting in Borb Bay you will need to fend off the invading lump army. Use your skills to aim at the borbs and make groups of 3 or more of the same type to make them disappear. Your journey will become increasingly difficult as you progress through the adventure. You will have to battle against Lumps bosses, use power ups smartly, and take advantage of the environment to succeed in your quest.

Taito’s classic Puzzle Bobble is probably one of the most copied games in the puzzle game genre, after the likes of Tetris and Puzzloop/Zuma. Mobile phone gamers have seen numerous rip-offs of the tried-and-tested bubble-popping formula, and Bubble Town 2 represents I-Play’s second bite at the cherry.

Thankfully, while it may not be terrifically original, it is at least highly enjoyable and brings some worthwhile innovations of its own to the table.

For those of you that haven’t played Puzzle Bobble or one of its many clones, it basically involves firing orbs at other orbs in order to match them up in groups of three or more. The ultimate objective is to clear the entire screen.

In Bubble Town 2 the orbs become ‘Borbs’ and these are launched from your trusty cannon which sits at the bottom of the screen. You’re given a finite number of borbs to use and once you’ve fired all 12, a bar at the top of the display drops the remaining borbs down by one level
